Dom Rafa

Rafael Ribeiro da Costa e Silva, born in Pouso Alegre (MG), Brazil, 3/27/1992. Boy was living in São Paulo in 1997 where he earned his first computer and learned work byhimself. Then went to Brasilia, where he entered the world of skateboarding. He returned to Pouso Alegre in 2004 where he was close to his family that consists of musicians by the side of his mother who influenced him. Even so, learned to play guitar alone with a booklet of the Beatles and got a guitar. He learned Web Design, learned drums and keyboard at the same time it was introduced to Hip-hop by his friend Carlos Eduardo. They were letters, then came the need to make beats and when Carlos moved, Rafael still making music. Dom, as it is called by friends, says his biggest influence comes from animation films, video games and rock bands like Deftones, Queens Of The Stone Age, Rage Against The Machine, and it shows as geniuses and their favorites: Josh Homme, Chino Moreno, Trent Reznor, Tom Morello, Liam Howlett, Ken Jordan & Scott Kirkland, DJ Shadow, Roni Size, Tom Rowlands & Ed Simons, Fatboy Slim, Damon Albarn, Dave Grohl, Thomas Bangalter & Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo, Michael Sandison & Marcus Eoin, Deadmau5, Skrillex.
